Top Ten Tuesday #5

This is a fun weekly meme hosted by the great girls over at Broke and Bookish. Every Tuesday will feature a new list, usually of up to ten books and our thoughts. It's a great way to learn about your fellow bloggers, their fave books and get more recommendations and more books to read. Plus who doesn't love a list?

Top Ten Characters I'd Crush On If I Were A Fictional Character:

1- Zach Goode- Gallagher Girls
It is no secret that I love Zach, he is an awesome spy and is always looking out for Cammie so what else do you need?

2- W.W. Hale the Fifth- Heist Society
Ally Carter sure knows how to write hot, smart and just plain awesome guys and Hale is just that.

3- Dimitri Belikov- Vampire Academy
Seriously who doesn't want him (well i guess expect team Adrian people) but come on, Russian, awesome fighter & breathtaking.

4- Jay Heaton- The Body Finder
Jay is your best friend who ends up more than your best friend who is always there for you and knows when your about to do something stupid.

5- Valek- Poison Study
Well he tries to kill you but then saves you then tries to kill you then falls in love with you and then saves you again. Just what you want.

6- Merrick Brothers- Storm & Spark
OKAY I CAN'T PICK ONE! SO I PICK ALL FOUR!

7- Mason Kade- Fallen Crest High
Football star, bad boy and just hot. Once he cares about you he will never let anyone hurt you.

8-Dean Holder- Hopeless
Because he will remember you even when you have been lost for over 10years.

9- Sam Henry - Catching Jordan
He is always there for you even when he isn't.

10- Etienne St. Clair - Anna and The French Kiss
English Accent, can speak French, LOVES HISTORY (it's meant to be) and he just the nicest character out there expect when he is an asshat.

And that is my top ten characters i'd crush on!

Top Ten Books I HAD To Buy...But Are Still Sitting On My Shelf Unread

1. The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

2. Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks

3. Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

4. Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger

5. Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff

6. Breath by Tim Winton

So for pretty much each of these books, I just haven't had time to read them. Stormdancer I started but started getting confused & was in middle of HSC time so I put it on the backburn and yet to pick it up again. Etiguetter & Espionage I have started but settling into uni I haven't picked it up again, but have read e-books... Perks of being a Wallflower is something I have to read soon. The others I borrowed and am yet to read.

Top Ten Books At The TOP Of My Spring 2013 TBR list! (or in my case Autumn)

1. Dead Silence by Kimberly Derting
I love the body finder series. I don't like creepy movies and that but I love creepy books, this being my favorite. I also just love Violet & Jay, really want to see how this one goes after the ending of the last echo!

2. Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire
Travis's view of Beautiful Disaster. Need I say more? I cannot wait to read this from Travis's view & get to understand him more & why he fights etc.

3. If I Should Die by Amy Plum
I believe that this is the final book in this trilogy! I love Kate & Vincent, and really just love the series (hello Paris people!). I cannot wait to see how this one ends.

4. Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout
After being recommended these books by some lovely people on twitter, I had try her books, now I'm hooked and cannot wait to read this one!

5. Requiem by Lauren Oliver
The final book in this series (I think) and it is out now but I haven't had to chance to buy it yet. Really want to how this finishes, because love really cannot be a disease, can it?

6. Never Too Far by Abbi Glines
Ok so it isn't a TBR but it is amazing! So the ending was a bit too sudden for me, however I still enjoyed reading about Blaire & Rush, and there struggle with their family etc.

7. The Elite by Kiera Cass
The second book in this series and I really want to know who America chooses to be honest after lovely The Selection, I'm looking forward to it.

8. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
The last book in The Infernal Devices trilogy, do I have to say anything else?

9. The Forever of Ella & Micha by Jessica Sorensen
I really enjoyed the first one and want to see what happens to this re-kindled relationship that they have going.

And that is it! I cannot think of any other book coming out in Autumn... maybe because half the books I've been reading have been recommend to me from Amazon on the kindle store...

Top Ten Favorite Books You've Read During The Lifespan Of Your Blog:
I started my blog back in March so it isn't a hard list to make for me!

1. Out Of Sight, Out Of Time by Ally Carter
Ally Carter's novels are my thing teenage spies and thieves, number five in the Gallagher Girl's series is the best read I've had since March. However many have come close but Carter just wins again.
2. The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead
This came in as a close second and Mead has done it again in the Bloodlines world creating new romances & adventures.
3. Until I Die by Amy Plum
Vincent <3 and Kate's romance and story just captivate me along with the setting of Paris.
4. Storm by Brigid Kemmerer
If it wasn't for all those Aussie Bloggers on twitter raving about this read I wouldn't have picked this novel up, however it is now one of my favourite books.
5. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Having only reading this last week this book is full of action and kindling romance. This book had me at Assassin reminding me of Maria V. Sydner's work as well as Ally Carter's
6. The Body at the Tower and The Traitor and the Tunnel by Y.S. Lee
Both these books are Mary Quinn novels and I love Mary Quinn and the agency's adventures espically when they involve a Mr James Easton. Trurth be told I only finished the third novel (Traitot and the Tunnel) yesterday.
7. The Last Echo by Kimerbly Derting
I love the body finder series and this just added to my love of it. Jay and Violet's relationship is amazing and hope it continues!
8. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
This tearjerker is now rising the list and becoming one of my favourite contemps YA of the year.
9. Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
This Sport YA is amazing! My love of sport and female power are all in this novel it is awesome!
10. Instructions for a Broken Heart by Kim Culbertson
Don't care if people hated it, what matters is that I loved it! A well known fact by know is that I'm a sucker for a good contemp read.
