All in all, despite being protected by Mason and Logan, it's still only the strong survive. Sam will not only have to survive, she needs to learn how to conquer too, but there's another battle growing. Things are about to come to a disastrous end between the towns, Roussou and Fallen Crest. Sam's other main dilemma? Keeping Mason and Logan from getting arrested or hospitalized.

Waiting on Wednesday #10

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that allows readers to showcase eagerly awaited upcoming releases. The week I have been waiting on Crash Into You by Katie McGarry!

From acclaimed author Katie McGarry comes an explosive new tale of a good girl with a reckless streak, a street-smart guy with nothing to lose, and a romance forged in the fast lane

The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.

After loving McGarry's debut of Pushing the Limits and loving Dare You Too, I am super excited for Crash Into You AND it is Isaiah's story :D *squeell*

Crash Into You is out November 26th! So get onto it and if you haven't read PTL or DYT you should go check them out! You can find my review of DYT here

What are you waiting on this week? Let me know!

Waiting on Wednesday #9

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that allows readers to showcase eagerly awaited upcoming releases. The week I have been waiting on Secret by Brigid Kemmerer!

As you know I released the cover on the blog last friday and extremely glad that we have a cover!

Nowhere is safe. Not even home…

Nick Merrick is stretched to the breaking point.

Keep his grades sky-high or he’ll never escape his hometown.
Keep his brother’s business going or the Merricks will be out on the street.
Keep the secret of where he’s going in the evenings from his own twin—-or he’ll lose his family.

Keep his mind off the hot, self-assured dancer who’s supposed to be his “girlfriend’s” partner.

Of course there’s also the homicidal freak Quinn has taken to hanging around, and the Elemental Guide counting the hours until he can try again to kill the Merrick brothers.

There’s a storm coming. From all sides. And then some.

Nick Merrick, can you keep it together?

If you have read any of my posts about the elementals series than you know that Nick is by far my favourite and a WHOLE book devoted to Nick and Adam (okay Quinn too I guess, but I am not a fan) which will be released 28th January 2014! So far yet closer each day!

Discussion Post #1

This has been something that I have want to do for a while, and after being apart of this 15 day book blogger challenge I have decide why the hell not!

What do you do when you get addicted to a book series or author?

I recently re-read a series by an author who I have loved every book that I have read by them. This being Tijan and the three books I've read Fallen Crest High, Fallen Crest Family and Broken and Screwed! I have re-read Fallen Crest High at least 8-9 times since getting the e-book, I don't know why I am addicted to these books and this author but I just can't seem to get enough.

Another series/author I am addicted to is Ally Carter. As you have probably seen though twitter and blogging, I cannot get enough of Gallagher Girls and Heist Society. I re-read these series around about once ever four months, so that is at least three times a year that I read these books all over again. Every once in a while I want to read them again, just because I can or I am stressing over uni work and want to escape into the world of Cam and Zach or Kat and Hale.

Vampire Academy I started the series when the first four were out, so I was a little late to the VA bandwagon, but still I have re-read each of these before books 5 and 6 came out, before bloodlines came out and pretty when ever I want some hot Russian guardian to appear in my life. Unlike Ally Carter's books I left VA at home instead of bringing to uni because they are bigger than Carter's, however I do have the Bloodlines series here , mainly because the series is still going and not finished.

Miranda Kenneally's books are another that I have re-read a lot. I am addicted to these because of the sporting influence and the fact that she puts real teenage problems into her stories, they are so rateable which makes it easy to want to read again. I have brought her first two books twice because I didn't get them on kindle which I now mainly use, so this allows me to re-read them much easier.

Since NA has burst into the publishing community, I have a few that I cannot get enough of. Tijan's books are one and another is Abbi Glines. I love the sea breeze series much more than Too Far, Perfection and Vincent Boys, I could keep on reading Cage York and Preston any day of the week. I just read these whenever I want a book to read about those two boys... which I admit has happened a lot this year, espically since now have those books in paperback and not e-book, because they on my iPod which has a very small screen to read on.

Now I don't know what is keeping me addicted to these books if it is the writing, the situations, the hot male characters or the fact that the contemporary ones are easy to relate to? NA is pretty much targeted at my age group, which I get because lots of older teenagers are going to university/college, moving out and going out on weekends etc. But sometimes the way some are written/what are about aren't that great. The two NA authors that I have mention are written great, which is probably why I am addicted to them more so than other NA's that I have read.

I only included on contemporary series above and I love contemporary books, but I don't get as addicted to them like some others that I have mentioned. The reason why am probably addicted to the ones that I have listed above might be because of the really good looking males characters and I want to escape into a world where they exist, I don't know.

How I get over my crazy addiction with these books: read them. Once I read them I can go a few months or weeks without wanting to read them, which is great but sometimes when I am stressed, out of it, wanting to escape I come running back to these book worlds. This may because I know that they will always cheer me up or help me escape for a couple hours.

So I want to know what series/author are you addicted to and how you get past the addiction to start another book/series?

Waiting on Wednesday #7

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. For this week, I am eagerly anticipating -

Racing Savannah by Miranda Kenneally

They’re from two different worlds.

He lives in the estate house, and she spends most of her time in the stables helping her father train horses. In fact, Savannah has always been much more comfortable around horses than boys. Especially boys like Jack Goodwin—cocky, popular and completely out of her league. She knows the rules: no mixing between the staff and the Goodwin family. But Jack has no such boundaries.

With her dream of becoming a horse jockey, Savannah isn’t exactly one to follow the rules either. She’s not going to let someone tell her a girl isn’t tough enough to race. Sure, it’s dangerous. Then again, so is dating Jack…

Out: December 3rd 2013!

I Love Miranda Kenneally's books! They are amazing and I cannot wait for this one to be on my kindle ready for me to read! I love all the covers in this companion series they are all so relevant to the story.

Waiting on Wednesday #5

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. For this week, I am eagerly anticipating - Dead Silence by Kimberly Derting

Violet thought she’d made peace with her unique ability to sense the echoes of the dead and the imprints that cling to their killers…that is until she acquired an imprint of her own. Forced to carry a reminder of the horrible events of her kidnapping, Violet is more determined than ever to lead a normal life. However, the people who run the special investigative team Violet works for have no intention of letting her go.

When someone close to Violet becomes a suspect in a horrific murder, she finds herself pulled into a deadly hunt for a madman with an army of devoted followers. Violet has survived dangerous situations before, but she quickly discovers that protecting those closest to her is far more difficult than protecting herself.

I love the body finder series, make no mistake there and I just cannot wait to see what happens with Violet & Jay, also Rafe and the gang. The mystery is what makes these books awesome! Out: 16th April 2013!! (6 DAYS!!!)

Top Ten Tuesday #5

This is a fun weekly meme hosted by the great girls over at Broke and Bookish. Every Tuesday will feature a new list, usually of up to ten books and our thoughts. It's a great way to learn about your fellow bloggers, their fave books and get more recommendations and more books to read. Plus who doesn't love a list?

Top Ten Characters I'd Crush On If I Were A Fictional Character:

1- Zach Goode- Gallagher Girls
It is no secret that I love Zach, he is an awesome spy and is always looking out for Cammie so what else do you need?

2- W.W. Hale the Fifth- Heist Society
Ally Carter sure knows how to write hot, smart and just plain awesome guys and Hale is just that.

3- Dimitri Belikov- Vampire Academy
Seriously who doesn't want him (well i guess expect team Adrian people) but come on, Russian, awesome fighter & breathtaking.

4- Jay Heaton- The Body Finder
Jay is your best friend who ends up more than your best friend who is always there for you and knows when your about to do something stupid.

5- Valek- Poison Study
Well he tries to kill you but then saves you then tries to kill you then falls in love with you and then saves you again. Just what you want.

6- Merrick Brothers- Storm & Spark
OKAY I CAN'T PICK ONE! SO I PICK ALL FOUR!

7- Mason Kade- Fallen Crest High
Football star, bad boy and just hot. Once he cares about you he will never let anyone hurt you.

8-Dean Holder- Hopeless
Because he will remember you even when you have been lost for over 10years.

9- Sam Henry - Catching Jordan
He is always there for you even when he isn't.

10- Etienne St. Clair - Anna and The French Kiss
English Accent, can speak French, LOVES HISTORY (it's meant to be) and he just the nicest character out there expect when he is an asshat.

And that is my top ten characters i'd crush on!

5. Requiem by Lauren Oliver
The final book in this series (I think) and it is out now but I haven't had to chance to buy it yet. Really want to how this finishes, because love really cannot be a disease, can it?

6. Never Too Far by Abbi Glines
Ok so it isn't a TBR but it is amazing! So the ending was a bit too sudden for me, however I still enjoyed reading about Blaire & Rush, and there struggle with their family etc.

7. The Elite by Kiera Cass
The second book in this series and I really want to know who America chooses to be honest after lovely The Selection, I'm looking forward to it.
